And if you feel like it is a scam, just hang up and call Verizon Wireless back on a number you know is theirs and ask for information regarding your bill.
This number called, but I could not answer b/c I was at work. No voicemail. I guess it must not have been important. The internet search came back saying the number was carried by multiple carriers and that it was a cell phone number...sounds like a telemarketer. I'm on the do not call list, so I wonder how this crap keeps getting pushed through to my phone. All was well for a few weeks, then they probably bought my number from some retail reward program, and back again it goes.
Do not answer calls from this number. If they want something, they can leave a voicemail.
This number called 4 times today on my cell. Very Very annoying. Never leaves voicemail. I;m on the do not call list, and they still call. Time to carry this annoyance a little further now.
Received a call on my cell from this number. When I answered, nobody was there. I called it back and was connected to voicemail stating: "You have reached Verizon Financial Services". Really? My payment is due, but this is what they do???
