I keep getting hang up calls from this number or calls from a like number were the last four numbers are close to 9630 which tells me it is possibly coming from the same unknown business. I keep blocking the numbers.
I happen to know while it is legal to use a auto dail system that however when we answer our phone there 'must be' someone on the caller end to immediately respond to our hello and if we answer they are required to provide us immediately with their first and last name, what company they are calling from, the address they are calling from, the 'true' phone number they are calling from and possibly other information we request (see federal and state law).
They are not permitted to ring your phone just for the sake of ringing/harassing you!
There are stiff civil and criminal laws against the above. Consult a/your attorney for further details. Do not provide them with any business or personal information about yourself.
Handling personal or some business matters by phone is just stupid!
If you advise them you are represented by a attorney and provide the attorneys name and phone number they must immediately stop calling/communicating with you.

also isn't it just proper phone manners to leave a message?
