A recorded message dialed out at 1628 ET on 05-31-2009 from this number to area code 260, purportedly from Salin Bank. "Your bank card has been suspended..."
I don't have an active account or bank card from this bank.
I received this call at 11:00am on Monday. I answered and received a message saying that my account from some credit card had been cancelled and to reactivate the card I should press #1. Knowing that I do not have an account at that institution, I hung up.
Got a call at 7:51am to my cell in Northeast Indiana. I'm very private about my cell number, so I was immediately suspicious, and just hung up. Reverse phone on whitepages.com lists this number as owned by a company called Plant Health Care in Pittsburg. This appears to be a legitimate professional organization, but I don't do business with them. I have no reason to believe the call really came from them. No message was left. I've been on the National Do Not Call Registry for years.
