Called my mother who has Alzheimer's. I interrupted the call and the guy got snotty about that. I demanded to know who he worked for. No answer. Demanded to speak to a manager. He hung up. A search says it is the Telcove company whoever they are.
I have also been getting unwanted, annoying phone calls from this number since before Christmas. I usually don't pick up because the first time I did, they hung up. Today I did answer the phone. I was hoping to get a live person, and I did. When I told them to stop calling me they were verbally abusive and questioned my patriotism. I am convinced that this group is bogus. I can't fathom a legitimate veterans' group acting this way! I am sick of the phone calls and if anyone knows how to stop them, I'd appreciate the information. I, too, am on the do not call list.
I got a call from this number saying my first name, but when I asked who was calling he refused to identify himself and told me he would keep calling until {my name} was home.
How is it that this is allowed in America!?!?!? What a disgrace to our privacy and an exponential annoyance!!! They are spoofing the number as you call it back on the caller ID and it is out of service. This happens all the time. They can put anything they want on the caller ID.
