Received a call today 1/12/09....this is a phone # based in Pittsburgh. Very disturbing to see this area code on my caller id. many old relatives live there and I thought someone had passed away, spent few hours trying to figure out who.....then found out its just another unwanted solicited phone call.......what gives?
I live in the New England area and this number keeps coming up on my caller ID but I don't know the number. I am on the do not call list I thought and don't understand how these numbers can call me.
Got this call on my work phone in SF - I have also gotten it at home, my cell phone and my family's phone in LA(!) over the holidays. It is an annoying robocall about a vacation to the Bahamas with a ship's blowhorn and seagulls in the background - VERY annoying.
