Automated female voice stating it is the IRS with Final Notice. I ignored all 3 calls I received today at varying times knowing it was a scam. Then I called back...guy (in Indian/Pakistani voice) tells me to verify my name for security purposes. I told him he already had my name because he was calling my number. Then I told him I knew it was a scam and he got upset and said "muddah F#@ker, F#@k you!" and hung the phone up on me. PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! Don't fall for this scam. The IRS will NEVER EVER contact you in this manner. It would be through official written correspondence.
Called my cell at 6:28 am. I ignored the call but the kicker is they left a very poorly made automated message that I needed to call them back. So I called and a female with a very thick accent stated the number i called ws to the IRS. I stated that I was returning a call. She stated that she needed my name. Of course I said if you have my number then my name should be with that and I asked who was she calling for... she hung up. Called three more times and messed with them since they want to scam ...the number was 413 252 4997.
