Why doesn't everyone buy into a call id blocker device. Ironically blocking device does not cost any electricity as it fits inline with phone line, then only cost $39.00 from amazon.  Only  china built device I wolud ever buy.  Best thing it is rliable and holds up to 1200 numbers. Have had ours for over 2yrs ans only 190 blocked numbers. go fo it
