They called about my MasterCare (Debit Express) - my card has been locked and I need to speak with their Security Department - I hung up. My bank has told me in the past that they will call me personally and verify it is me before they go into any information if my card is blocked for any reason.
PLEASE look at the phone number. Prefix 555? The only persons that use that prefix are the phone companies. No one else. As well, there is a very large scam going on of people being phoned by Microsoft 'Tech help'. It isn't. They turn out to be foreign companies that do little to your computer for hundreds of dollars. Have computer trouble? Fix it yourself, or take it to the local repair shop.
Male with strong accent called saying they were getting a help needed signal and wanted us to go to our computer to fix the problem. Since I would not cooperate and told him not to call here anymore since I did not trust him, he told me to go to hell and hung-up..
Not the first time he calls here and hope he got the message to delete my number from his list
Same problem here. If you have caller ID, please do not answer. Lets pass the word that this is a scam. DON'T EVEN ANSWER THE CALL.
I do not think it is even a telemarketer. I think it is a scam.
