I also received a call from this number today from an attorney by the name of Eric Jones stating that I have criminal charges pending against me from a lawsuit from his client " American Cash" whom which I had requested a loan from in 2012. He said that I needed to have my lawyer contact him for further information so that they can have someone come personally to my house and have the legal documentation and court date issued to me and fax my lawyer a copy of the affidavit. He refused to give me further information about the criminal charges against me and denied further detail of the case. I called back the office to see if I could get the name of the firm and she refused to spell it out for me and was persistent on getting my name. She then refused to give information and said that I needed to have my attorney contact them and she will be more than glad to give all information including licensing number. They seemed very much in character. I called the Sheriff Department and had a deputy come see me and was told that this in fact is fraudulent. No one can press criminal charges against me due to a debt and someone that is taking me to court would never really actually bother to encourage seeking an attorney. They will not do a further investigation because he did not demand money but if he does I will be waiting. Beware!!! This is a SCAM!
These [***] called me talking about I owe them money and they're representing a company by the name of American Cash.. The guy on the other line sounded like a fool and told me to beware .. I was going to be arrested within 24-48 hrs and they were gonna come to my job.. I told him he can suck my diiiick.. All I know was that I annoyed the hell out of the guy and he had to change his phone number..( kept redirecting me to random phone numbers apparently trying to get me to leave a message on some random persons phone with me cursing and screaming) ha ha they thought they were clever, but not clever enough!! One up for the good guys!!!
This had happened to me yesterday at my job. When I called them back they refused to tell me my case number and changed the name of the lawfirm. Threatened.me told me i was going to be arested. I have called them back repeatedly and have been hung up on also they have blocked my number cause i told them they were a fraud. Told them i was at my local court house and they had no such warrant for my arrest. So now they won't answer my call! Crazy#!!!!!!
