I have pressed 9 as suggested to 'stop calls' and yet the calls keep coming twice a week or so. This is the second time I have reported this number. They are selling a "personal medical alert" system. Additionally, pressing 1 to purchase a PMA system terminates the call.
Caller ID showed 413-662-8519. Name "Not Available." I answered the phone and there was a recorded message informing me that I'd "been selected to receive a free Life Alert system." I hung up. When I called the number on the caller ID I got a recording saying I'd reached a number that was "no longer in service."
Just received call today 1/26/2015 from ANOTHER new number: 413-662-8519 on my cell phone. Adding to the blocked caller list. This is the reason we have so many area codes now because these scammers are using up all our phone numbers! I added my signature to the Consumer Reports' Consumers Union request to the FCC. They also use that number for Life Alert. Asking for a Credit card Number. They have been told several times to quit calling our numbers. We have complained to No Call. But it does not work
