I have pressed 9 as suggested to 'stop calls' and yet the calls keep coming twice a week or so. This is the second time I have reported this number. They are selling a "personal medical alert" system. Additionally, pressing 1 to purchase a PMA system terminates the call.
So tired of these BS calls 2 my cell

Folks, don't answer any call that looks suspicious. Google the number, and, if it appears on one of these forums do one of two things:
1) If you can, block the number. It'll only be a temporary fix since it's not really the number from where these scammers are calling (they use software or phones that allow them to alter what number appears on your caller ID).
2) If you can't block, add the number as a contact called "scammer," "scumbag," etc. and whatever you do, DO NOT answer the call.
Even if they cannot scam you, your number is listed as in service and additional calls will follow. There's no way to stop them completely but I usually get them every six months.
The DNC list won't help as only legitimate businesses follow those rules and law enforcement won't care unless you are scammed out of a significant amount of money.
I received a call from this number, I answered assuming it was spam & hoping to have an option to remove my number from whatever list they have. no one spoke on the other end & after a few seconds, the call was disconnected
