Caller ID is just the number. They leave no message.
I call back after hours (using *67 to block my number). I call between 10 PM and 11 PM eastern time. I reach an operator! He sounds American. He identifies his group simply as the Young Conservatives. Based on other recent calls I assume their full name is Young Conaervatives for a Better America. I hang up immediately.
I notice that googling their name yields nothing (with the exception of their webpage). I discover that the legal page on their website is virtually blank. The sparse legal page and the lack of web presence makes them look illegitimate.
I can't say I appreciate them failing to identify themselves on their caller ID or failing to leave a message.
There are too many red flags for me to consider giving to them.

The website for that specific name says "Our Federal EIN number is xx-xxxxxxx"
As EIN means "Employer Identification Number" they are being redundant.
They also have a "contact us" webpage, where I assume people can get the information they need to notify this organization to put specific phone numbers on the organization's internal Do Not Call list. Methods of contact include e-mail, a business address for USPS mail, and a phone number.
