In my case the bill is related to an unprocessed medical payment. They also had the wrong address for me, so if they had sent me a bill, I would never have received it. By calling them back, I was able to deal with the issue and get the payment back into the processing system so the issue can be resolved. Some billing problems are often the result of human error.
