Just got a call from 414-332-8767, but did not get to the phone one time. No message and the caller ID said Milwaukee. Tried to call it back it was disconnected. How does that work?
414-332-8767 caller ID: Unknown Name. Phone calls from this number are unwelcomed and periodic. Obviously illegitimate because they fail to identify themselves and they fail to leave any credible message. Beware of these unknown name failures calling from 414-332-8767.
The call really didn't come from Milwaukee. The caller supplies a fake # & ID, so it could come from anywhere. Called Spoofing. Somehow, these jerks get disconnected numbers and use them. So you can't call them back. And they ignore the DNC list. It is the law, poorly enforced, almost impossible for calls coming from outside the country. If your phone can block incoming calls from a list, add it to the list. And hope the list has enough room for all the scum bags who chase you.
CID read two different numbers. One was out of Washington DC: 1-202-204-0484, the other was 1-414-332-8767. Obviously phone hacking (phreaking). Heavy east-indian acccent. Told me there was a problem with my computer. I let him go on for a bit, to see what he was trying to get me to do. He tried to get me to open a remote connection. When I told him I was a Microsoft Engineer, he immediately hung up. Do NOT follow their instructions. This is a well known scam.
I got a call from 414-332-8767 and a man with an Indian accent tried to tell me he was from Microsoft and telling me my computer was in danger. I told him I had good virus protection and he started yelling at me telling me I didn't know what I was talking about and I told him he was rude and hung up... They called again today. I am going to look into a block.... They want to gain access to your computer...
