I received a call from Dale Thomas who transferred over to someone else ( who rattled his name and never clarified to me). Said I owe money ( which I have already paid back to the correct company) and told me if I did not fax over evidence within 60 minutes they would file in court. When I told him I did not have the document with me at work, he said I could pay $ 50.00 to hold filing and he would give me 48-72 hourse to produce document. How funny to pay for extension. I just hung up. I have reported Goldberg & Maxwell to the State attorney's office in Texas. To this date, I have never received any papers from them.
They say its from Goldberg and Maxwell and this guy is director of finance. Its bullcrap. debt collector. from a payday loan. very very rude, and try to use scare tactics and threaten. the guy i spokme with was timothy harris
I am gettting the same phone calls from the same person and yes they are good with the scare tactics and threats. They keep calling my daughters phones too and they are in school wow how do you get them to stop.
same here... my caller was a Mr. Arnold and they said if i don't respond to their voicemail that i should expect to get served at my job on Monday, 5/7... he also said that he just hung up from contacting my father's home... and he's 3 states away from me.. i've contacted my local attorney general's office and i'll be filing a complaint if not, a class action civil case suit in violating FDCPA act... read about it, their tactics are illegal.
Im getting phone calls from 314.449.0421 or it comes up 618.449.0421 and also 314.441.0389 and their calling from Goldberg Maxwell LLC at this point the only thing I can do when they call is just repeat what they say to me, they continue to tell me that they will have me served at work or home if I dont call them back and the only way I can pay them is by credit card or checking account, what the hell is that about most collections will except money orders.
I have gone on my county courts records to see if there was anything on my record and you guessed it nothing...... I also called the investigation department they claim to work my county no record of them or any actions against me so when they call I tell them they have the wrong number. By the way I'm still waiting for this letter they have been mailing out to me for the longest.....
I received a call from a guy by the name of Lyonelle and states he is with Goldberg and Maxwell. He too threatens that I am going to be served at my office and home and I told him that I am afraid that his call is fradulaent. He read me off personal information about myself that is completely incorrect.. the addresses he read off (3 of them) only 2 were accurate. My place of employment that he read off to me for the time of the payday loan...was not even anywhere that i had worked in over 6 years!!!! I explained that I am in the process of trying to file for bankruptcy and he said that he will file a suit against me today with the courts and it will be mandated that I appear in court! This man had me in tears! I do not have a ton of money and can not verify if what he is saying is even true...what do I do..he has my office # as well....
