This is from Extended Car Warranty, saying your warranty is about to expire and this was the last call before they take you off their list. Funny, I don't have a car warranty. It does give you the option to press 1 to speak to a rep. or press 2 to be removed from their calling list. They called my work number two other times in the past few days and this time I finally picked up and hopefully it won't call back
this was an automated call that reached me on my cell phone. Advised this was the second call to warn me that the warranty on my vehicle has expired but could be extended. Options were to press 1 to speak to a rep, or press 2 if this call was made in error. Without pressing anything, the message continued by asking if the year of my vehicle was between 2005 and 2009, press 1 for yes, press 2 for no. I hung up at this point - I don't have any vehicle warranty.
Just got a per-recorded call from this number. Definitely sounds like a scam. I went ahead and pressed "1" just to speak with a "representative" to find out how they got my number and what warranty this is for (I don't have any warranties on any of my vehicles). The recording said someone would call me back within 5 minutes. Sure enough I received a call from someone in less than 5 minutes, and as soon as I said "What is this for, you're calling me at a business number" the person on the other end of the line immediately hung up.
