someone called and asked me for my ss# also, i asked what it this regarding and would not give any iformation, only to contact my attorneys and also threatned me that I would be arrested. I called back and told them they did not have the right to threatned me and to be professionals and the I would report them to the FDCPA. The guy told me that I am a scammer and that I was going to be arrested. I kept talking then I realized he hung up on me...twice.
i have gotten NUMEROUS phone calls from this number in the last 48 hours...i DID apply for a payday loan but it is NOT up till oct 12....and i DID fall victim to a scam regarding priority payday cash advance...should have known better...said i was approved for $5000.00 but i had to send them $150 via western union...next day i got a call apparently my name didnt match what i have on my id...had to send $150 b/c it was my mistake..next day...i had to pay a 'fed tax' of 8% on the $5000 equaling $400.00. i did this and when i called to find out about the 'federal bank officer named jacob' was going to release the funds into my checking account i was told i would have to pay $595.00 for the gov't to study my case to see if it was a fraud...i knew all along it was scam and i could kick my own [***] right now but i did fall victim to it...anyway...this has nothing to do with the number that is listed as 4144482222...but i thought everyone should know...i have been getting calls from this number from an indian guy with a thick accent...so hard i cant understand him....anyway leaves me threatening voicemails saying that if i dont return his call that he can 'only wish me good luck on what is going to happen to me...' long story short...im done messing with people! i dont have anyone to blame but myself for the scam but this number calling me is stupid!
They have been calling here too, all I did was look at info never gave anyone money------- only place that is not a scam for pay day loans is Cash Taxi it will cost you about 20.00 per 100 borrowed. if anyone knows how to get them to stop please let me know I will be calling the state attorneys office in MN tomorrow.
Guy is very hard to understand, when you ask were there office is located I get Milwaukee Wisconsin and Washington when I ask for a supervisor I get hung up on when I tell them to mail the info I get hung up on.
this a hole has been calling my home and my work saying there was a case filed against me and i need to return call i did call and they hung up it is a scam all you can do is report them to your states attorney and F.B.I. fraud div. they claim to be anderson and thompson law firm guy said his name is john wilson
I am so grateful that God helped me realize that these people were a bunch of EVIL and HARMFUL human beings I have done everything in my power to get these people caught, I've call the Milwaukee,WI police, I am from TN and they have been reported to FTCA,and the social security office has done and FBI further investigation. I have also contacted the corporate offices of all the Western Union and Wal-marts to make them aware. These fake "Law-Firms" will be caught i pray to GOD that they are arrested! I have also called the real "Anderson and Thomas Law Firm" and told them that there names are being used in a scam and these Attornies are not happy! They are going to do whatever it takes to to catch them because now they are fraudulent towards their Firm
