This guy contacted me stating that he was from the iRS and was calling me about this collcollection for 5000.00 that I supposedly have. Which doesn't exist. Immediately I knew it was a fraud and I hung up.
debt collector from an account originated from Chase they knew the last four of my ssn# and my name and negotiated my balances that I supposely owe to Chase. I dont know if this is a scamm or not, name of person was Jessica Brown ext 1877-945-6233.
Got a call from 14152315599, its automated answering machine. They didn't even properly say what company it was so I just hanged up, and plus my phone number is fairly new, no else but my friends should has my number.
Lady said she was calling to collect money on a pay day loan from 2005. Told her I did not have any pay day loans and said I would like documentation. She then started to speak very quickly and mumble. Threaten to put a tax lien on my SSN. She continued to state I can settle over the phone. My response was I need documentation to verify what this was about and would give the paper work to my lawyer. For lack of better words the lady then began to act "ghetto" and tried to threaten me. I did not get the company name or her name as she obviously was not very professional and did not speak clearly.
Yeah. . . Just how do you put a tax lien on your Social security number? Don't you just love the way these foreign criminals use quasi-legal phrases they culled from old "Law & Order" episodes?
