I just received a called from a Michael Johnson stating he is from the IRS and that I owe $4995 from back taxes from 2010-2012 and that if I didn't pay I would go to jail and all of my assets will be taken. Later I received a call female stating that my license is suspended for the next five years. The same number that called me was the same number I called back to as well
friend of mine got same phone call(s) in Colorado. wondering how they got her info. she has just moved into the state and has only signed up for phone service and internet. seems like the leak is there.
Just got a call from a female stating they were with the IRS and that I need to call back asap, I suspected that it was some kind of scam, when I called back I got a recorded message for Magic Jack phone service.
I revived a robo call from 415 234 9578. I did not answer. A voice mail was left saying Internal revenue. That i needed to call back before further actions against me would be taken. Discovered on here that it is a scam. I urge you to report to help stop these crimes.
I received a "robo" call from "Officer Julie Smith" from the "Internal Revenue Service" urging to return the call "before any action taken against you".
