I have been called twice by this number today. I had the same message as PP: "I need you or your retained attorney to return the call. The issue at hand is extremely time sensitive and I need you to contact me, officer Julie Smith from Internal Revenue Service. The number to my division is 415.234.9586. I repeat it is 415.234.9586. Do not disregard this message and return the call before we take any action against you. Good bye and take care."
The message stated the number 415-234-9586 was to their HOTLINE.... I am going to report to IRS and also block the caller ID on my phone.

Got the same automated message as everyone else. It was so broken up I could barely understand the message.
I don't owe the IRS any money so I ignored it.
Got a scam call from 415-234-9586 claiming to be from IRS. Said the IRS has filed a case against me for tax fraud and the sheriff is coming to arrest me etc etc. Called a couple of times. Blocked this number but also getting similar calls from other numbers. Total scam. Ignore these calls and give any personal information.
