Just got a call from this # and they actually left a computerized robot message. It says she is Julie Smith from IRS, but didn't ask who she wanted to speak to and says that I better call back or they will take action. OMG! they must be stupid cause we all know the IRS will never call you unless you call them requesting a call back. These dumb scammers will do anything to get your hard earned money! The Feds got to regulate these people!
I received a call from this number saying they were an officer from the IRS and to call back immediately, or have my attorney call back. When I tried to call back, it went to voicemail and said the voicemail was full.

got a call from1-415-234-9865 said it was Julie smith(it was computerized) to call them back, it was the irs and it was time sensitive or action would be taken. never said who this message was for. This is I believe the 7th message they have left on my answering machine.in the last two months
just got a computized call from the "IRS" saying I must call back or they will take action. I get these calls about 3 times a month. Put my number on the do not call list. What else can i do?

Called IRS, they confirmed they would not call anyone that they send mail and then if needed certified mail.
They also confirmed they show no contact with me and that I do not owe them any money.
