It is WAP via GSM. in fact it's like a dial up internet for mobiles. It means your phone comes from the CINGULAR network, with the number 1-415-244-1012 preset for the WAP via GSM. if you are not a CINGULAR subscriber and you have a phone that makes you problems like this, I strongly suggest that you take your phone to a cell phone service, or even better change your phone.

this number shows up periodically as a call made from my cell phone and my sons. the calls are at times when NO ONE is near our phones such as 3:59AM!!! when i call this number back it is a fax number. i do not know why it keeps coming up as an outgoing call when no one has dialed it.
This number appeared on our cell phone as a dialed number. We do not know who this belongs to and we were not using our cell phone at the time the call was made on 11-28-07. When I tried to call the number, I reached a fax machine.
My girlfriend discovered that outgoing call (415-244-1012) in my cell dated Feb 02 2008. Luckily, it is reported in this website and could prove I am not cheating with somebody in California. Thank you all.
