I have been getting calls from this number (and others) in the last few days. I had an experience similar to John's above. When I did answer once, they guy told me that I had accepted his 800 number call??? which I had not done. I told him to stop calling me and hung up. He called me back. I again asked him not to call me again. He said I would not get any more calls from him. But then he started calling me over and over again, saying something like "this is your request for not calling back. Thank you" and he would hang up and call again. I just starting killing the calls as soon as they would ring but he persisted. Finally stopped after about a dozen times.
Over the last few days, I had similar episodes. Just when I think they are done with me, they start again.
As far as how did they get my number? Only thing I can figure is that I bought a car recently and I applied for a loan at a reputable car dealer.
this loan company is a big scam is taking peoples money and not giving people the loan we need the federal government step in and stop these people from taking peoples money and act like they are a loan company it just a big scam. one of the scam name is Mr Daniels
Just started recently getting calls from them over the past few days. Missed their calls all the time but I finally managed to answer one and there was a guy with an Indian accent telling me I was approved for a loan. Told them I never applied for any loan and the guy told me to kiss his [***] and hung up. I called back and the same guy answered and faked being a machine and start listing the "press a number for a certain option" except he was saying extremely vulgar things. I hung up and they called back with a different number (same guy) and said my name and my financial institution and even told me my bank account number (luckily it was an old account which has been closed for a while). This is some scary stuff. If you think companies follow their "we won't share/sell your information" garbage then you will be in for a surprise. Like many others I have taken payday loans and I regret it constantly. My advice is to never get a loan no matter how broke you are. It may seem like the only way out at the time but the long term hassles it causes is just worth the short term relief.
