I've received several voicemails claiming I owe state taxes between 2005 through 2012 and can resolve immediately or wait until Monday when the sherifff's department comes to arrest me.
When asking for their address, they provided me with the federal irs building in San Francisco 450golden gate bridge, San Fran, CA 94102.
Received a message on my cell, stating they were calling from the IRS and I had ignored a certified letter on the back taxes I owed. They went on to say that I will be arrested on Monday, but since I have a no arrest record, they can have someone come to my house and pick up the $6000.00 that I owe them, and then all charges will be dropped.
Should they drop by on Monday (not that I gave them my address) they will be met by my friends, Smith and Wesson. Maybe I'll be able to collect some money from them, although I expect I'll just find poopy pants running down the driveway.

This number called me and said they were the IRS. And I owed $6000.00 They threatened me with jail and that the sheriffs were coming to arrest me on Monday. Ha! Really? I love how these Indian boiler room telemarketers call themselves, Frank, Andy, Wayne ,Alex etc. I insisted on speaking with a supervisor and "Alex" replied in his broken English that he was a supervisor. He kept asking me what number I'm calling from. I said that I'm reporting them to the FBI as well as make it known publicly about their harassment and fraudulent actions.
On Saturday I received a call on my answering machine who said they were calling from the IRS. The message was computer generated and said that I needed to call 415-251-6163 because I was being sued because I had not responded to a certified letter on the back taxes I owed. They went on to say that I needed to contact a lawyer and that a warrant will be issued to have my wife arrested on Monday for failure to pay back taxes. I asked for a supervisor and was transferred to 415-251-9773 and he said he could get me an exception if I could get the taxes paid now. I asked how much I owed and he said $6320.00 and that I could only pay it by getting a bill payer voucher at either Food lion or Kroger. I aid that I had to go to my credit union to get the cash to buy the bill payer voucher. I contacted the credit union and told them what was taking place and they said it was a scam.
