Call the real DEA at 1-877-792-2873 and report this extortion attempt. They are actively investigating these calls and want people who receive them to report it. See:
I was called by "Sergeant Janet Brown" and "Sergeant Paul Anderson" of the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA). "Sergeant Paul Anderson" used the classic "dea diversion scam" targeting those who bought an internet medication without a prescription
I was threatened with arrest and extradition to Boston and the Dominican Republic, which could be avoided if I paid a fine to enter a diversion program. This fraud also involved a phone number of a "headquarters" in Washington (206-497-5936) used to verify Sergeant Paul Anderson's credentials.
The story was complicated, involving the DEA, the FBI, the US Marshalls, the US judge, the Dominican Republic Embassy and the US Federal Agents. The Sergeant used excellent persuasive technique, including covert or conversational hypnosis.

My Husband received a call about 10 months ago from a so called DEA agent I do not recall his name, but when my husband did not cooperate with him the DEA agent said he was going to have our house surrounded by the DEA with in the next 24 hours and do a complete search of our house. I will admit we were both scared but knew that he had done nothing wrong. This agent bothered him for a few days he wanted 2500.00 that day and he would let him make two more payments 1250,00 with in the next 4 weeks if he did not send the money we were going to have to hire a attorney and could spend up to a year in federal prison. Well today Special Agent Paul Anderson from Division 38 has called and left a message wanting to talk to my husband about a on going investigation and his name has been brought up, so needs to talk to him immediately.
