Got the exact same message at 11:00 am today. Googled the number and saw all the posts here. Now got a second call at 12:30 pm from the same number...annoying!!
Called left message from irs...important I call back before they take action. Called back and a foreign speaking male stated they were looking for lesbians and wanted to know if I was one. My reply was "thank goodness I wasnt"
I've received a couple of calls from these miscreants from either Pakistan or India - I've returned the call. They ask that I give them a case number, then I make one up. Then they come back and ask if they are speaking to Randy ______, I reply yes (I'm assuming that they get this name off of the caller i.d.).
Then I ask them something about where their office is in San Francisco, they reply "I can't tell you that." And then the anger from them starts - calling me every name in the book - amazing that these foreigners have such an amazing command of foul words - when normally they can barely speak.
Today I'm calling my senator, giving his office the telephone number and hopefully, although doubtful, he can deal with it. I say hopefully as I feel that most politicians are only interested in gaining from our system - not doing any good for their voters - my Senator's name is Menendez
