This is about the third call from this operation. This time they actually left a message. The person who had an accent claimed to be John Robinson with Green Payday. He went on to say that a resident qualified for a $5000 loan and asked to call back with a credit card to complete the application.
Instead I went ahead and blocked Johnny, I hope he and his friends aren't too upset if they try to call back and are cut off.
Same here, calls from John Robinson from 3 different San Fransisco numbers. I answered once and asked him to tell me who he was calling... what a surprise, he hung up, yet the calls continued. Upon reading all of the other comments on this forum, I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against Green PayDay. I suggest you all do the same in addition to blocking the various numbers John Robinson calls from.
Called my sister,used my name saying that I was approved for a loan. I called back, clearly an Indian accent, said he was in San Francisco. I started in on the guy and he dumped me into call with another angry guy so we ended up talking to each other, realizing we were both contacted for scam. I had been concerned my identity had been stolen, they're just looking up numbers and finding the billing name attached.
