They called... asked to speak with (pooly pronouced) MyFirstName... after asking who was calling (twice, once for the guy to say Mark and a second time to hear the fake company name) then I said yes... he then went on to ask for a different MyLastName and Company... I told him (with a grin) that he had in Fact connected with his desired party... he started to tell me about some BS calling plan.. so I told him to take a hike and hung up... he was about to do do the same... They just want to verify your name and last name for a calling list...
They called my work number and asked for me and then when I said speaking, she said the connection is bad, but I did not hear any static or anything. I called the number back and it is busy.... Woman sounded like she was in 70's, poor thing must be doing telemarketing!!!!
Called my cellphone. No vmail. Tried calling number but busy signal. I've had several of these types of calls lately from this number as well as others. How do you make it stop?
I've received numerous calls from 415 329-0834 asking for me and when asked who's calling they give me a name and they say they are calling from John Lapalamento's office. Whwn i identify myself then they change my name to Dr. Rojas. They never transfer me to a John they just hang up. I have my attorney looking into this since they are calling a business it is harassment.
