I see all the responses here, but I am currently a SFSU student and enployee. This is the generic number that appears when any department from SFSU calls you. It could be the library or the student services building, from my experience. Same number, every time.
Someone probably got the database of students and trying to scam, if you want me to donate i can do it at sfsu website and not to a random number i got a call from 8 at night.
Caller ID "SF ST UNIV 1600". I didn't answer and they did not go through the prompts to bypass my call screening device. My brother used to use my phone number and is an alum from about seven years ago so maybe they were asking for him, but that's just a guess. They've never called him at this number before, ever.
