I received a call this morning on my cell and person spoke in broken english stating that I had won a $100 gift that could be used at Walmart or Target. They said I was a preferred customer. All they wanted was a $1.95 processing fee that could be charged to my credit or debit card. They verified my name, address city and state and zip. I refused to give them my cc information. They got rude and hung up.
I received a call from this number and this fast talking guy with heavy acsent told me that my phone number was one of the lucky number out of 25 and I will be receiving a $200.00 Gas Voucher and can be use anywhere and all they need is $1.00 processing fee. I told them I don't have a credit card and just give me their "address" so I can mail it to them.....he hang up the phone! "Dude, back at yah"!
I just got another call from them a couple of minutes ago and it was the same indian guy, with the SAME crap about a free wallmart card. Its literally annoying how this guy calls me and trys to scam me for money almost EVERYDAY!!!! im reporting him the next time he calls......
Whew! I'm glad i didn't give them my debit card number. I had just got it a couple days ago and they just called me about a couple minutes ago. I asked "how do i know you aren't stealing my information"? and he gave me this information:
Alex Anderson
Drive Save Company
his employee no. - 362591
He worked in the Verification DPT.
I thought it was really weird with a man who spoke english (pretty fair) very monotone like a robot with an American name. :\
So i changed the last couple numbers of my debit card. After he told me it was incorrect i told him that my mother had JUST deactiviated it. Then he accused me of wasting his time and he hung up on me. Nice customer service. :D
415-363-5668, I qualified for $100 gift card, I've gottent his call three days in a row and refused to give info. Today I simply asked the man where he was from, he told me the company is in Pheoniz Arizona, I said 'I want to know where you are from' he told me india. I asked him for his phone number, so I could call him back, he asked me if I wanted him to give me my number or his number? I asked him for his home phone number so that I could call him at inconvenient times. He told me that 'after he verifies my informaiton' I will give me his number", I told him I'm not giving him my information and I don't want his gift certificate but needed his company name and number so that when I report him to the better business bureau, I have the correct information - HE HUNG UP.
