EVERY FREAKING DAY these people call me!! How do I get them to stop?!?!?!?! I've told them to lose my number, I'm not interested in what they're offering, don't call me again, etc. They don't stop!!!!
get on the f.b.i website and submit a tip of criminal activity for that perticular number. you will have to give the f.b.i. all your info. But they won't harass you like these terrorists. Thats what I did and if enough people do it they will have to figure it out. We will probably see this on 20/20 a month later about the biggest money scam ever.
I have also been getting calls from this number and I thought something was fishy...so I started asking a lot of questions. I asked the guy to remove me from his call list, hung up on him and he called me right back!! As he was talking I googled the name of his company and this site popped up. I was SO glad that people had posted to this site because after reading the reviews (which I read several to him) I got very rude with the man and finally told him I didn't care if I missed out on their 100$ gift card. He was still trying to talk me into giving him my information. Whatever you do, DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!!!
This Indian man called me and advised that I had given them my visa card number several months ago and that I was going to be charged for their servifes, I had no idea what he was talking about. He said I signed up for some magazines several months ago. I advised I hadn't and I wanted my number removed and to cancel and subscription as I did not order anything, He then tells me that I need to go through the verification line and verify my info in order to get a toll free cancellation number. I said if I ordered magazines months ago what is my address and why haven't I received any magazines, he tried to fast talk me but I wanted the cancellation number so I went through with the verification saying no I do not authorize, immediately after that he gets on the line and says I didn't tell you to say no so now your card is being chargted $90.00. I went bezerk, cussed him out and called my bank, they had indeed tried to verify a $1.00 charge which was declined and I had to cancel my ATM card. You need to report fraud to your bank and then cancel your card.
This is the same exact call I received today at like 9:50am today 8/15/2011. They are crooks and something needs to be done to stop these people, I suggest filing a complaint with the state attorney general, board of consumer affairs and the better business bureau like I have done.
