I have been receiving numerous calls from 415-363-9735. I have no idea who this is. I tried texting to ask who it is & was informed it's a residential number. I want this to STOP.
Been calling i never anwswer an they never leave a msg i dont know anyone from san francsico ca an if it wasnt a scam they would leave a msg an they never do they on the block list now
Received a call a few days ago, same caller ID but different number. I knew from reading this website it was "Emily" who sounds like a recording trying to sell me something. I decided to have fun, so I answered.
Me: Hello?
pause
Emily (who sounds like a recording): Hello! This is Emily and I......
Me (interrupting): Are you a recording or a real person?
Emily: ::Laughs:: I'm a real person. Why would you think that?
Me: Because when I googled this number, I found out it was from Emily, who sounds like a recording, who's trying to sell me some bullcrap pain cream.
Silence
Me: No comeback for that, Emily?
Line goes dead.
Too bad I don't know the company name. I'd really like to report it and get some money! I've heard that it can happen, but it might just be an urban legend.
Pain cream scam. Only tries to get it for you if you are under 65. Filipino origin. Want to get the name of your doctor and the name and location of your medical insurance company. They'll then bill the insurance company saying your doctor approved it. Don't know of anyone who's actually gotten the cream. It's doubtful if the insurance company would fall for he scam anyway. That's my understanding.
I am not the sharpest tool in the shed when I am as tired as I am right now, but I just took this call and I guess, ignorantly, went through all three transfers after answering questions about the type of pain that I deal with, my insurance and MD info. Some doctor is supposedly going to approve or deny me some 90-day free trial of some sort of one of kind pain cream. They say that my treating physician will be contacted regarding the pain that he treats me for. My insurance company is pretty tightfisted though, so if this is a scam, they probably won't be sending anything to me. I guess it's a wait and see thing now.
