my caller id said Belvedere, CA

9:24 PST Answered call & just dead air BLOCKED CALL

Call came in on my mobile phone at 9:18 am. I did not answer it, no VM.

This phone number is similar to landline spam calls I received from CID Belvedere Ti CA (415) 366-0724.

This is one of the hot new spams.  You get calls.  No one is there.  I'm not sure I understand the nature of the scam...AARP's newletter had a piece about this.  Their recommendation--don't answer.

Didnt answer. NEVER answer unknown callers unless you want to get a sales pitch or someone else trying to scam you. If its important they will leave a message.
