One or two calls from this number every afternoon/evening. If we answer, no one on the other end says anything and they hang up in a few seconds. The calls started in late January.
We have several calls on our callerID which we did not answer from this number the two weeks starting Sunday Jan 23, 2008 and Feb 3rd, 2008. It has stopped now.
Several calls (every other day or so, including weekends). Caller ID says "San Francisco". Calling my 408-areacode number. I have started logging all calls (Captured on my callerid log) as complaints at www.donotcall.gov. Perhaps if enough other people do so as well it will trigger some action.
Never any message, a couple times I answered there was no-one there.
I called the number once (from a different phone), got a recording saying something like "we call on behalf of several national retailers and financial institutions". When I pressed "2" for the donotcall list, they said press 1 for the national DoNotCall, 2 for (I think) "ORC protocols list". I did not complete the call.
I get calls from this STUPID number every day and night! the caller ID say that "San Francisco" is calling....URRGGHHH, very frustrating, but thank God for caller ID, although I've considered answering and telling them to GET LOST!!
i get calls all the time from this number. i finally answered and the lady said it was a "radio station survey." after a few questions about what stations i listened to, she asked me my name and address. when i declined, she seemed a bit miffed. Also, while my caller ID says "San Francisco", a reverse trace shows Oakland as the city of origin. Something seems funny.
The caller must derive a lot of pleasure from this site. My phone has audio caller id so they never get an answer. My dog loves to howl at this caller so, I get a laugh out of him, and he has fun howling. Thank you.
