One or two calls from this number every afternoon/evening. If we answer, no one on the other end says anything and they hang up in a few seconds. The calls started in late January.
They've called a dozen times in the last couple of weeks. Today I was right by the phone and caught it. The woman said "a two-minute radio listener survey." I asked her to take me off their list, and she politely said "no problem." Who knows if they really will.
I just got my gazillionth call from that number and decided to google it. Who knew? Anyway, I can recommend a gadget if this kind of thing annoys you enough to spend $100 to make it stop -- see www.person-to-person.net. When I got a call from that number last night, I pushed a couple of buttons on my person-to-person gizmo so that that number will never ring my phone again (the caller hears ringing and eventually goes to voicemail or your answering machine, but your phone never rings).
I've gotten probably a dozen calls. I've answered just a couple times, and after I wait several seconds, I hang up when there's no voice on the other end. Can this harassment be stopped?
I've received many calls from this number, and they never leave a message or speak when I answer. Since there are many complaints, I hope this number can be blocked from making calls.
