The same thing is happening to me too. I retired in July 2011 and the phone calls stopped. Now over a year later they are starting up again. I guess they're running out of people to scam and have to harass people who ignore their calls. I have a block on my cell phone so if they leave a message it goes right to voicemail. It just gets so annoying.
Got a call from these guys at my work, stated they were from the department of investigations. Recently applied for a loan online, think it's tied to that. Probably a scam.

Yea this is some major crap i am def filing charges if i can this has to stop i have a freaking heart and kidney problem just waiting on the damn transplants ~FINGERS CROSSED~ needed to pay my car payment and wasnt getting my disability check until the 3rd. and now im getting calls saying i have a case against me and all this crap. first off there not real they dont sound real who in the hell has a name like mark smith with a freaking middle eastern accent this is serious crap i am so disappointed in the human race. the call is from san fran cali just so every one knows.
Calling my home looking for some unknow person and telling me if I dont call them back I will be taken to court..what the hell??? Also don't understand a word he says.
Them [***] call my phone saying that I need a lawyer that they have a law suit against me gave my lawyer their number and guess what they won't. Answer scared [***] they need to go get a real job
