This guy is psycho. He has left me the same message for the past 6 days. I finally call him back and he starts talking about some debt for 2007 and I asked who is the company and how much is it. He told he he didn't have all of this information. He told me if I sat on hold he would speak to his supervisor about reducing my debt from 3,000 to 585.00. I sat and waited patiently. Wen he returned he instructed me to go to a CVS and call me when I get there to make payment. I told him that I would just contact my lawyer and have him call him. He got quiet and told me that if I settled it, there was no need. So I told ok,I'll call you when I get to CVS. He told me I had thirty minutes. He has called me 15 times more in the last hour after he realized he wasn't getting a dime out of me. I'm simply just going to block his call, but these people have to be stopped. He knows personal information and that much annoyed me along with his harassment.
This number called me today and first time left a vm and said to have my attorney ( which I don't have one ) call him or me and if not he would what to see what will happen to me. Also, when I finally called back said that if I had a criminal record or obituary offender, ( check fraud) it would be worse and my local police station would be arresting me. I said I didn't have an attorney or a record of any sort and he saod okay and hung up.
THESE PEOPLE ARE CALLING FROM INDIA.
THEIR IS NO SUCH DEPARTMENT OF LEGAL AFFAIRS IN UNITED STATE.
DO SOME HARD WORK AND BE EDUCATED DUDES.
THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAM AND FRAUDSTER AND USING MAGIC JACK DEVICE TO CALL PEOPLE AND ASK THEM TO PAY FOR FAKE PAYDAY LOAN PAYMENTS. DON'T GIVE THEM ANYTHING. DON'T PAY THEM BY PREPAID CARD WESTERN UNION (ON BOGUS NAME) OR MONEYPAK CARD. THEY ARE DOING ABSOLUTELY SCAM OUT OF OUR PEOPLE.
THEY CAN'T EVEN TALK PROPERLY ( NOT EVEN THEIR NAME) PURE PUNJABI OR PATELS.
BE AWARE OF THEM. THEY CAN'T DO ANYTHING BECAUSE THEY ARE FAR AWAY FROM YOU IN INDIA.
I received a call from this exact number just now and after being told the exact same thing you all were told i decided to google them and the phone number. Im really glad I did because I was SH****NG bricks about being arrested at work for something I knew nothing about or had any recollection of. The scariest thing is that they knew my banks name, my last four of my SSN, my phone number etc. Im going to my bank to close and re-open my accounts.
