Call from a woman with a heavy accent but American name, Colton Wise. Wanted to speak to my husband. Said for him to contact Officer Tom Cooper at this number but wouldn't release information. I called back and got a voicemail saying the party wasn't available and to leave a message. The voicemail was the same voice that called.
Just answered this call from Andy Parker with a very thick accent. He said he was calling from the US Treasury Department in their legal affairs and before they started legal proceedings..." I cut him off and said "No!" and hung up. He immediately called back and said again he was with Us Treasury and had I not received the letter. I raised my voice and told I had not and that calls like this are usually scams and that when I had a letter in hand I would give it to my lawyer and he would handle it and I hung up. He did not call back.
An Edward with heavy broken English said he was calling from treasury legal department and legal actions are started against him and to have him call back. This is a SCAM! Us dept of treasury or IRS will NEVER call your house threatening you! Report this asap to the real IRS or US dept of treasury!
Andy Taylor gave me a call and told me he was from the IRS and that I had a fine that needed to be paid. Ask me if I had gotten my notice in the mail. Of course I said no and he said he would love to help me out and transferred me to someone else that sounded just like him. lol yes it was him transferring the call to him. So I told him I was sure he would need my SS number and my bank account to help me out. And of course he said yes. Then I went off on him and hung up.
