A man collecting money for the Police Dept. called and wanted to send me a decal and information on helping Policemen and their families. He asked first for 35.00 and then I hesitated and he said 25.00 and noticed my hesitancy and asked for 15.00. I smelled a rat and he was about to transfer me to someone to make payment and I hung up on him. What a shame that he is using Police officers as a way of scamming people. I asked him if he was collecting for St. Louis Policeman and he said that it was for an association. He purposely changed the subject away from my question. Don't be fooled by this man.
Called a few minutes ago. I did not answer as the caller ID said "AA". Blocked it as it rang. Suppose they will find a different number to call with and will block it too.
