Just got a call and nobody answered. Tired of these damn calls, especially when I get ten or more a day and on my cell number, also. Telephone companies, do your jobs and find these scammers. I'm sick and tired of these unnecessary calls!
Have received numerous calls recently regarding "helping me to further reduce my credit card payable balances substantially". The guy speaks with a heavy Latino accent and is reading from an obvious script. I used to tell them I am not interested, and that my number is registered on the Federal do not call list. Now every time I see their number in the caller ID, I just hang up on them.
Called this number from an ad I saw listed on Craigslist for a room. The guy sounded Latino and told me to flag the ad I saw, as it was a fake and someone was harassing him. I told him to flag it himself and contact Craigslist directly, and then he got an attitude with me and cursed. I hung up.
