I have received two calls from this number with the Caller ID "Anonymous". Of course I didn't answer. Who would with that ID? After reading Jon's comment, I called back and it was indeed Time Warner. My first clue that something was odd was when the call connected, I got the "This call may be monitored........etc" and not the usual "Thank you for calling Time Warner" and no prompts to 'press 1 for phone', '2 for whatever......' When I got the live person, (Anita Carver and it was TWC), I told her about receiving these calls from "Anonymous". She then proceeded to tell me that, yes, they had called to offer me the Epix channel, and what it was, how much money I would save, yada, yada, yada.(typical salesperson pitch. They don't even take a breath so you can't interrupt them). I told her very nicely that I didn't want Epix, but thought it might be a good idea to inform her boss that no one is going to answer a call from "Anonymous" and should have the Caller ID say "Time Warner" so people will pick up. Makes sense, right?? Well, she curtly thanked me for calling and hung up on me!
I immediately called the 'real' Time Warner # (1-888-892-2253) and reported the "Anonymous" calls and the rude customer service I received. She took the info and flagged it to go to her supervisor. She was extremely apologetic and said I won't receive anymore calls regarding Epix. Oh, could that be true!!!

Thanks for the info. I got the same poor treatment when I called this number back. Yes it was TWC sales. They called 3 times. I did call TWC number you listed and made sure I no longer get any calls or emails. Also the rep called the 4157040823 number and confirmed everything in your post. It's ironic that TWC won't even publish it's name on caller id when calling you.
