A guy purporting to be Peter Macarlo texted me from a dating site. He stated that he resided in Beverly Hills, CA but was going to be assigned in Malaysia to construct a gas station for Petronas Petroleum. He promised me love and happiness. He sent me via email his copies of his contract which had no contractor license number. He stated all of a sudden that the Malaysian authorities were there to seize his equipment and needed me to invest money to help him out. I suspected fraud and told him my suspicions. He grew upset and started sending me recorded messages through Whatsapp. His voice had a clear distinctive accent which proved English was not his primary language. His pictures were also studio quality and questionable.
I met a guy online.. Peter Alberto... But his email says Peter Macarlo. He lives in Los Angles. Supposedly he is in Vietnam to get some oil and gas contracts signed. In a rush asked for my home address. He bought some items he wanted to send me, because he couldn't take them on the boat to the rig due to pirates. He emails me a long list of items along with a crazy amount of cash. Told me to do exactly as the courier says and he will see me in a month.
