Received poor quality recorded message from IRS Officer Julie Smith, 415-742-6974 demanding return call from my attorney. Very sensitive matter and that call should be returned before she takes further action! Don't think so. I'd rather report to the authorities against them.
Call claims to be Officer Julie Smith from IRS, says I need to call back, I did, they said I owed 6,000, I told them I would call the real IRS and they got all pissed off. Scam artists and poor ones at that.
I got a poor quality voice message from an "IRS" officer named Julie Smith. I decided to call back and they asked for a case number, which they didn't leave in the voicemail. I informed them that it wasn't left in the voicemail and they hung up on me. I tried to call back repeatedly to ask them to take me off their list, but they just keep hanging up on me.
Called the number back said I owed 4000. Told me either give lawyers info or pay 2000 now. If I didn't choose one of the options then they would have a warrant issued for my arrest and that an officer would be at home in two hours. I started to cry and say I've never done anything wrong in my life. Then I was transferred and that man said that they would put my case on hold and then call me back tomorrow. I've never received anything from the irs saying I owed anything. I filed last year and got my refund no problem. Call the irs and see if you owe don't send these scammers a dime! I owe nothing to the irs!
Got a call (recording) from a Julie. Said the IRS was going to take action against us. Area code is from CA. Pure BS but what is the IRS (government) going to do about the scam?
