It appears to be legit. I did have a Wells Fargo account that I forgot about. They wouldn't give any information over the phone and I only had to give them minor details. I was given a reference # and have to go to a local branch to claim the money, so no business was conducted over the phone. Hope this helps. Also, I did receive a letter in the mail from Wells Fargo prior to this call.
Someone calling about unclaimed property. Asking for another person so it had to be a wrong number. Glad I saw this site. I have never done any business with Wells Fargo so I just ignored the message left.
I just received same phone call from this number, and I did not give the lady who sounds very nice any contact information because of six sense of safety. I did not think this call made any sense.
Also received a call from this number from a very nice lady who referenced an account I had set up for my infant son sometime ago, had all background information on me, and asked me to verify my correct identity and link to the account by asking me the proper questions one would expect to answer, but not too intrusive to be a company fishing for SS#'s and that kind of thing. It appears legit to me as well...
