They would like us to call them to keep from going in front of a magistrate Judge or Grand Jury for a felony. The phone call was very hard to understand , as in a bad connection.
Received call from "Kevin Mason", did not identify a company or government agency. Did not even ask to speak to a specific person. Received Friday 6/24 at 4:03pm. Claimed that I was to appear before a magistrate and failing to do so would result in a felony conviction.
I have seen others on 800notes mention calls from an alleged Kevin Mason. It sounds like this is an overseas scam that is trying to pass themselves off as the IRS.
