Very broken message. Another call saying the US Treasury is taking action against us. "Ignoring this will be an intentional offense. To avoid going before a US judge and grand jury and being tried for a federal criminal offense, please call me, we want to help you". These people should not be able to keep getting away with this.
Every other day it is a call either from the "US Treasury" or the "IRS"! As soon as I block the number, they just call from another one. This is ridiculous! The sad thing is, how many elderly and uneducated people fall for this scam?
Same thing here - IRS or treasury department threatening legal action. They've been calling my home number twice a day for over a week, and now they've got my cell number. Wonderful.
Consider investing in a call blocker and do NOT pick up on call numbers you do not recognize. Your cell should have some app available for blocking purposes. Never return the calls. Sometimes that's just a signal for them to hammer you with even more calls.
