I have received 8 messages over the past 2 days and the content of the message is exactly as everyone else has posted- a message from an IRS agent named Nicky Johnson.
I received a call today I actually answered it and it was actually a recording not a person that said they were the IRS and she was the Officer in charge and I needed to contact her Immediately, I did and someone with a accent answered and demanded I tell him My phone number, I would not give it until he told me his name and he just kept saying I am the iRS and finally said my name is Smith I hung up he was very very nasty.
My husband received a call from this number 415-799-7869 they left a voice message claiming to be the IRS and to call ASAP or further action will be taken. He called back an India man answered and was told to speak to Nikki Johnson. He was very rude and when my husband starting asking questions they hung up on him.
They said I had unpaid taxes and wanted to know the name of my lawyer....after this foreigner gave his speech i told him I would get a lawyer AND get back to him
