Received call from 1-415-830-3699 (hes actually in India) with a man telling me we owed him for Instant Support. Told him not to call back and that he was a total scam - part of the Top Google epages scammer who called the night before. Beware and don't give them computer access or $$$.

Received a call from 1-415-830-3699 with a man called Ryan. I was told that there was a "world-wide" powerful computer infection and he could help me look on my computer to check if it was infected. After I asked him exactly what he was "selling", he fessed up that he could check my computer for $135.00. Ryan at "Instant Support" was very possibly instrumental in causing malicious spyware to infect my computer.
I did indeed have a very infected computer after talking to the guys at "Instant Support".
I went to www.mycleanpc.com and technicians that spoke English as well as me and they had my computer completely clear of all malware, viruses and optimized the running of my computer in less than 6 hours . Excellent technicians and help. I highly recommend them!
Had the same conversation with the heavy accent and eventually spoke to a Andy Marshall that gave me the 415-8309-3699 number. Now I will need to get assistance to get any malware of other bugs that may have been planted....they only had access for a short time and then I shut down my computer. Guess I am not over being dumb......
Got same call and played along. She had me look at computer > manage > event viewer > system > application & system. "Scroll down slowly and tell me what you see?" she said. I replied, "Some error messages." Then she directed me to custom view > administrative events. That is all error logs. She directed me to www.technopcsolution.com and advised me to click on the "Connect to Technician" button on the left. She said that it would connect me to a tech who would remove all those errors. I asked, "He would take control of my computer?" "Yes, he is our computer technician and he will remove all those errors." I said that I don't give anyone access to my computer and I would have to ask my husband first. I asked for her phone number so that I could call her back after I got my husband's approval. It must be a very profitable business and I could hear the echo of many people in that room. And I guess that she gets paid by the "dupe" as she got in a real hurry to get off the line as soon as it was clear I wasn't going to click..
