left message on answering machine claim to be IRS I need to call back immediately or they will take action. Glad I have hear and read IRS does NOT call you they mail notice.
I received a call telling me that I had pending criminal charges for not filing tax returns correctly. As soon as I stated that I had looked up this number and came to this website the caller hung up. I am contacting the Treasury Department and filing a formal complaint I would suggest you do the same.
2nd time one of this scam artists called me! This number is 415-852-9228; San Francisco Bay Area stating and this one identified herself as someone Smith from IRS and not to disregard the message.
