received a call about a hospital bill that was covered by my insurance company. When I asked the company name "Sharee ?? spelling" would provide it. I also asked that they not call me at work and to contact me at my home number when she got very vocal that if I just paid my bill she would call me. I asked several times to speak with her manager and she would ask what I wanted to speak with them about and would not put the manager on until i provided her a reason. Finally, I asked that I not be contacted at work and she said that she was goign to keep on calling me until the bill was paid. We were referred to the hospital by our primary care physician to get my son an x-ray and were told that it was covered with the referral.
Calling the hospital now to find out about this charge....
They called and left a different call-back number (415-878-2238) and a reference number. Can't say the company name, they never mentioned it. strange..
Got a call from this number too. It's a collection agency; they want me to pay a bill from a hospital. I imagine they are a collection agency for other businesses too, not just the hospital. So avoid calls from this number unless you want to be harrassed.
